Louisa Ramajo Manalac, NP-C

Louisa Manalac, NP-C, is a board-certified nurse practitioner specializing in medical oncology at Keck Medicine of USC. As an advanced practice provider, she has extensive experience caring for patients with lung, bladder, kidney, prostate and testicular cancers. 

A cancer diagnosis can be an exceptionally challenging time. Manalac’s patients and their families can rely on her for emotional support throughout this journey. She values building strong relationships based on respect for each patient’s beliefs and preferences for their health, and their freedom of choice.

In addition to her clinical responsibilities, Manalac’s research interests are focused on strategies to enhance immunotherapy and other targeted treatments to improve patient outcomes. She also serves as a preceptor and mentor for other nurses with an emphasis on care standards, operational procedures and safety protocols. In addition, she is a member of professional organizations including the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, the American Nurses Association and the Oncology Nursing Society. 

Outside of work, Manalac enjoys spending time with her family, attending her daughter’s softball tournaments, cooking, gardening and traveling.
