About Apurva Amit Akkad , MD
Apurva Akkad, MD, is an infectious disease physician at Keck Medicine of USC, who specializes in providing whole-person care to transplant recipients or potential recipients. Outside of work, Dr. Akkad loves going hiking and spending days at the beach with his wife and son. He is an avid soccer and tennis player and enjoys cheering on his favorite Boston sports teams.
