Philosophy of care: Requiring a visit to a neurosurgeon or undergoing a neurosurgical operation can be one of the most frightening and life-changing experiences a person will ever have. Placing myself in the patient's shoes is the most important thing I can do to provide the best advice and care for any patient and family member with whom I interact. I believe in providing the safest and most effective care for my patients, founded on the principles of evidence-based medicine, research and the latest techniques available. My goal is to offer the safest and most effective surgical procedures for patients until we reach our goal of developing a cure for every subtype of malignant and benign brain tumor.
