About Iris Z. Ahronowitz , MD
Dr. Ahronowitz completed both medical school and dermatology residency at the University of California San Francisco. She provides care to patients with a wide range of dermatologic conditions in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. Her academic interests are in medical education, infectious diseases, skin conditions of organ transplant recipients, HIV dermatology, and complex medical dermatology. She is part of the Dermatology team in the multidisciplinary Keck Gender Affirming Care Program. Dr. Ahronowitz greatly enjoys teaching and mentoring residents and medical students as a major part of her work.
