Joseph Nairne Liu, MD

Joseph Liu, M.D. strives to provide high quality, compassionate, and patient-centered care.  He strongly believes that patients should participate fully in their own care, and wants to arm patients with the proper tools and education to make informed decisions.  Dr. Liu believes that a well-informed patient is more engaged and empowered throughout the treatment course, which will result in an improved outcome.  Most importantly, he treats people, not diagnoses.  His firm belief is that each treatment should be tailored to fit each patient’s circumstances and goals.  While Dr. Liu is a surgeon by training, he is committed to helping patients restore pain-free function, in the least invasive way possible.
