About Laura B. Taylor , MD
Laura Taylor, MD (she/her), is a board-certified family practice physician at Keck Medicine of USC. Dr. Taylor is the medical director of the USC Gender-Affirming Care Program, which provides high-quality, comprehensive medical care for transgender, non-binary and gender diverse patients. She particularly enjoys caring for the broader LGBTQ+ community and providing gynecologic and sexual health care. She provides a full range of services, including preventive gynecologic care, cancer screenings, contraception, PrEP (pre-exposure prophylaxis), as well as family planning services.

Dr. Taylor is highly experienced in all aspects of gender-affirming care, including hormone therapy and management, mental health, sexual health, preventive screenings and primary care for transgender and non-binary patients. She enjoys developing trusting relationships with everyone who comes to see her for their care and connecting over shared life experiences. Dr. Taylor’s patients can rely on her for unparalleled support and medical care. She understands that each person’s journey and needs are unique, and she strives to work together with each patient to accomplish their health goals.

Dr. Taylor is a member of professional organizations such as the World Professional Association for Transgender Health and the U.S. Professional Association for Transgender Health. She is also an advocate of training the next generation of physicians and serves as clinical assistant professor of family medicine at the Keck School of Medicine of USC.

Dr. Taylor grew up in Pittsburgh and has called Southern California home since 2019. When she’s not working, Dr. Taylor loves spending time with her wife, two children and their labradoodle. She also enjoys hiking, camping and exploring new places.
