Leanna Marderian Wise, MD

Dr. Leanna Wise has extensive training in dealing with complex systemic autoimmune diseases, including but not limited to lupus, inflammatory myopathies, and vasculitis. She is also well-versed in the management of spondyloarthritides, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, gout, and fibromyalgia.

My philosophy of care is to not only focus on evidence based medicine in the treatment of specific diseases, but to also focus on each individual's case. Rheumatology is such a diverse field, and each patient provides a very unique picture, as no two patients are alike. Along those same lines, I also encourage individuals to take an active role in the treatment of their diseases through pursuing healthy diets and exercise, along with optimal mental health. Pursuing health and wellness by looking at scientific studies, treating each patient as a unique individual, and encouraging a proactive approach to disease management by the patient is my three-tiered approach to the best care possible.
