Dr. MacFarlane is a primary care physician, board certified in Internal Medicine. He provides primary and preventive care to all adults and specializes in caring for LGBTQ individuals and those living with HIV, holding the title of an American Academy of HIV Medicine Specialist. He also specializes in gender-affirming care.
Dr. MacFarlane completed his medical degree from the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University in Philadelphia. During medical school, he also obtained a Master's Degree in Urban Bioethics to understand the interplay between social determinants of health and the health factors that lie outside of the clinic space. He completed his internship and residency at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where he also taught and supervised medical residents as Chief Resident.
